Do medical and paramedical students have a better awareness regarding oral health practices and orthodontic treatment? A KAP study

oral health is the most important for wellbeing of patient. But it being neglected in developing and underdeveloped countries malocclusion third commonly occurring dental anomaly. Medical paramedical students have been found to be point contact community on a large scale. Hence, present study was carried out evaluate awareness regarding orthodontic treratment KIMS College. A validated self-administered questionnaire, pertaining demographic data, knowledge orthodontics as specialty were included. total 42 questions included study. The answers from recorded Yes or No 2-point Likert Significantly higher proportions (70.7%) aware practices, Orthodontic treatment purpose followed by the, medical students. Female opined with greater frequency (70.8%) that irregular teeth negative impact self-esteem quality life compared male Dental more than care workers practices use mouthwashes, flossing technique etc. also its importance.
